WS Audiology joins the world’s most ambitious companies to limit global temperature rise
8 Jun 2021
The companies all commit to the science-based targets initiative, or SBTi. SBTi is a partnership between CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).
By joining this group of companies WS Audiology has committed to set climate targets in line with limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
WS Audiology has the ambition to achieve 100% renewable electricity directly consumed by the Company and to be carbon neutral in its own operations by 2025.
Chaojun Li, WSA’s global Head of Sustainability, commented: “We believe that committing to SBTi is the right thing to do and allows us to motivate and inspire other business partners to follow our example.”
WS Audiology is the first hearing aid company to join this global initiative.
