We are a global leader in the hearing industry, with a clear ambition to redefine it and be number one. Innovation is key to realizing that ambition and ensuring we can create devices and services that address the diverse needs of people with hearing loss, at all relevant price points.

Building hearing instruments is complex. It requires multiple engineering skills, so we establish an interdisciplinary team for each project.

With every new product, we improve on several aspects and each time we find new ways to make a better solution.

As engineers, we are curious, and continue to ask tough questions to drive innovation, such as: How can a hearing aid become a digital health assistant? How can we create products that are both desirable and convenient? How can we make sure that our charging solutions are the best? How can we emphasize the joy in listening again – the very best way, and from the very beginning?

Unlocking potential

Research and development has long been, and will continue to be, our top priority. We were first with some of the key innovations in audiology in areas such as aesthetics, connectivity, rechargeability, usability, workflow, and more.
In March 2021 WS Audiology is ranked as the top patent applicant for conventional hearing assistive technology, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which uses patent and other data from 1998 to 2019 to provide factual evidence on innovation in the global assistive tech landscape.
